[mso] Table Resizing Behavior in Word 2003

Hello!

I have never had this problem with Word before on my other computers, but
this one computer is driving me crazy!

Every time I create a table, and then try to resize the columns by dragging
them, the table will "snap" to a certain size (much smaller than the page
width). Sometimes when I pull the column lines too far it will only resize
to a portion of what I tried to drag it to.

Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks,
Scot
