Ya know, if there's one thing that seems to cause most of the page number problems, it's that same as previous option. When anyone in my office comes to me with page numbering problems, one of the first things I tell them is to turn off the same as previous before they start working on a header or footer. It is constitently the root cause of page number problems. Glad to have been of help. [End] That was the problem. Page numbers are the way I wanted them. Thank you.
