[mso] QUESTION ABOUT SORTING

Hello anyone,
   
  I have 5000 names and they come on a db file and need to sort for duplicates 
names.  Is there a way to do that?  I have and know Excel but not sure if Excel 
can sort for duplicates.
   
  Can anyone help?
