Yesterday a co-worker was having a problem with a Word 2000 doc and asked for my help. The Previous Page and Next Page navigation arrows on the vertical scroll bar had turned blue and when clicked acted as 'find' functions. Each time either one was clicked, the same phrase was searched for throughout the document. We couldn't find a way to turn it off, but when I suggested she close the document and re-open it, all was well again and the Previous Page and Next Page arrows scrolled through the doc page by page as we expected they should. Any hints on what was going on? My co-worker has no idea what she might have done to cause this to happen. Thanks in advance for any help.
