[mso] Outlook wont open a Word Attachment

I have a user who is unable to open a word document from within Outlook.
I found a previous message where it said to check the file types. I did
change it from open with 'Word Viewer' to just open with 'Microsoft
Word', but she is still not able to open the attachment from Outlook.
She is able to open word documents from the network just fine, it only
doesn't work when she tries to open it from Outlook. The preview works,
but opening gives a blank empty Word page.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
