Thanks Linda - does seem a little useless doesn't it. I have all my
contacts by nickname so rarely use the address book anyway. Good news
on
the baby front. We had a boy. Our fourth grandson and we're tickled
blue.

**That's the box to use if you want to search for a contact by
name....just type their name in there and hit enter and a little box
pops up for you to select them (if you have more than one address by
that name) or the contact just pops up. Once you've used it, that name
stays in there so you can use the dropdown again.**
