I wasn't clear
I get the emails with separate line
He doesn't

I'm thinking (guessing) that the problem may be here:

In Outlook, click on 
Tools
Options
Preferences
Email Options

Then be sure that the option labeled "remove extra line breaks in Plain Text
messages" is NOT checked.
