Consider a reformat of your message so that it's compatible with this option

... paragraphs separated by two Returns, lists on adjoining lines indented 
by a couple of spaces ... would probably do it.

I appreciate it.

That said, I'm an ornery enough old geezer to just not like it because I
consider it stupid.
The user can change the format if the user wants. That is one of the
features of my software.

That said, fixing the DEFAULT so it works with a broken system (and in my
book that is "broken) just rankles my soul, so, in the spirit of the season,
I'll accept your suggestion with kind gratitude, but choose to not do this.
