Well my flabber will be gasted. Sorry, I do not have any further suggestions on this. Good luck on your hunt for the answer. Weird eh? -----Original Message----- From: mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Pearce, Norman Sent: 05 May 2005 13:21 To: 'mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [mso] Re: Outlook archiving question Anne I assume here that you are referring to the display name of the archive folder as seen within Outlook itself.. To Amend the default "Archive folder" to read "Archive - MSO" or whatever you require try the following OL2000 routine. Open the Archive file within your current session of outlook if not already done. Right click on the Archive folder & select properties from the options displayed. Click the advanced button on the General Tab. You will find a Name textbox, displaying "Archive Folder", amend as necessary. Hope it works for you. All goes fine until after the Autoarchive has been run, when all my carefully named archive locations suddenly rename themselves all back to "Archive" (instead of eg "Archive MSO", or "Archive Personal")! Am I missing something obvious? If it lets me rename the folder locations in the first place what is likely to be causing it to rename itself back again? *baffled* ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, send an email to mso-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word "unsubscribe" (without the quotes) in the subject line.
