You've lost me, James ... maybe you are just doing it backwards? If you add
the birthday to the Contact first, it is automatically added to the calendar
as a recurring event ... isn't that what you want?

First I did not know where to add it to the contact
I was just stuffing a note in the general comment area.
And you are right
if I put it in the Contact first
(which I never knew to do)
it IS auto added to the calendar
