Do you need to have the facility to send email directly from your list? I=
f
not maybe you should consider an electronic calendar which pops up on you=
r
desktop to remind you of events if you have chosen to be alerted. It will
also repeat annually if you set it to. I'm really good at forgetting thi=
ngs
and have used one for years. At no time has it been a problem with any
firewall or virus scan.=0D

There are others but if you go to this website you can click away and see
what it does before you download it. At least you can see if it would be =
of
help to you. It is interactive from the webpage.=0D

I have Outlook 2007 and if I understand what you did, you duplicated=0D
yourself. For my Outlook when I add additional info like birthdays it=0D
automatically adds that birthday to the calendar as an all day event. I t=
hen=0D
go to that event and change it to my liking; if it is a reoccurring event=
 I=0D
have the choice of changing the reoccurring event or just that one single=
=0D
event, not sure that was what you were asking but I hope it helps until=0D
someone give you a correct answer.=0D

I have just spent a couple hours putting in information and now that I've=
=0D
done it, wondered whether there was a better way=0D
 =0D
For a list of about 60 people, mostly family, but not all, I've gone into=
=0D
Outlook for that person, selected their contact record,=0D
 =0D
Then, for each person, I opened their contact and added a note about key=0D
dates (Birthdays, Wedding anniversaries, etc.) in the contact area.=0D
 =0D
Then I opened the Outlook calendar and for each date added an annual=0D
recurring event to remind me, retyping the person's name, and email addre=
ss=0D
into the event.=0D
 =0D
Suddenly, I wondered if there was a better way ... some way that would=0D
better integrate the calendar with the contacts.=0D
