I have Outlook 2007 and if I understand what you did, you duplicated
yourself. For my Outlook when I add additional info like birthdays it
automatically adds that birthday to the calendar as an all day event. I then
go to that event and change it to my liking; if it is a reoccurring event I
have the choice of changing the reoccurring event or just that one single
event, not sure that was what you were asking but I hope it helps until
someone give you a correct answer.

It is the same for me, I'll ask again. Take what you did. You added
someone's birthday as an all day event even a recurring all day event. This
is what you do.

Now what I want is that when I go to that PERSON as a CONTACT it also shows
me their the birthday.

That is, I want both the DATE and also the CONTACT to show that event.

I would note that within the calendar I am not adding the individual as a
"meeting participant". I do not want them "notified". I just note their
birthday.

Am I being clear?
