Morning James, I found this extract which I think may apply: "An Outlook personal folder is a convenient alternative location for storage of e-mail contents and each personal folder can take up to 2GB of storage space and can contain up to 16,384 items. An item is a folder, message, task, etc. Each folder can contain a maximum of 16,384 items. However, if you select the option to "Allow upgrade to large tables," each folder can contain up to 65,536 items." from http://helpdesk.ttu.edu/directions/XP-pst.php Also: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;en-us;q180196 HTH, Dave. -----Original Message----- From: James S. My deleted folder would regularly hiccup when it hit 16,000+ items. I realized I hadn't had a deletion hiccup lately and looked at the folder and it is 21,000+ Was there a change in Outlook XP regarding maximum folder sizes? James S.
