Yeah, I know about the "in folder" column. She said she didn't have one!
It is tough when the users report behavior that sounds impossible......

Anyway, we recreated the Unread Mail folder again but I was not clear on
how to get it back into Favorite folders. Can you explain to me how to
do that?

Search folders have a column that says what folder the mail is really
in.
She can put the unread folder back into favorites and look.
