[mso] Office 2003/7 On Windows ME

I have a friend who has a dilemma. He wants to upgrade his current MS Office
Suite to 2003 or 2007 on a machine running WinME. I know that MS has stopped
support for 98 and ME, and he does intend to upgrade ME to Vista, when it comes
out.
The questions are: Will an installation of Office 2003/7 on a WinME machine
be successful? ... or does he have to install WinXP?
