I think he will be pretty unhappy if he tries to put Office 03 or 07 on WinME. That OS is incredibly unstable and not worth the computer it's installed on. Note that his existing ME machine may not be able to handle Vista if it doesn't have adequate memory and processor speed, so an upgrade of the OS may be difficult as well.=20 Just my .02. Elise >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I have a friend who has a dilemma. He wants to upgrade his current MS Office=20 Suite to 2003 or 2007 on a machine running WinME. I know that MS has stopped=20 support for 98 and ME, and he does intend to upgrade ME to Vista, when it comes=20 out.=20 The questions are: Will an installation of Office 2003/7 on a WinME machine=20 be successful? ... or does he have to install WinXP? ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, visit the group's homepage and use the dropdown menu at the top.
