Hi Richard,

You can use the ISNA & IF function.

Just create the lookup function and then wrap round it the
IF(ISNA...function....You can specify what value you want excel to return
instead of the N/A but replacing the words "No Match"

Here is an example

=IF(ISNA(VLOOKUP(A12,$A$6:$E$23,2,FALSE)),"No
Match",(VLOOKUP(A12,$A$6:$E$23,2,FALSE))).

Hope this helps.

Subject: [mso] #N/A on Vlook up

Hi there

I know this can be done as they told me how to do it on a course - but cant
remember how

When I run a Vlookup I get #N/A where it returns a none match. How can I change
this to be either blank or have something else in it such as "no match"

Thanks
