Well, actually, AGJ, I DID have a look at your problem ... It occupied =
me
for several odd breaks over a couple of days.  I came to the conclusion =
that
Excel can occasionally be WEIRD!  I'm glad Ray came to your rescue with
MATCH and INDEX.  Without re-jigging the data to comply and using a =
filter
of some kind - Autofilter or a Pivot Table -  I can't see how you can =
get
INDEX (or LOOKUP) to pull up muliple matches, though.
