Is the password in the security settings, or on the opening form? I have
had luck when I accidentally locked myself out of my databases by trying to
set securities by renaming the system.mdw file and letting access create a
new one on file open. You may want to research it a little first, I don't
know enough about it except it worked for me, but as to the potential harm
- that's why rename instead of delete.
If the password is on a form, if you create a new database, will it let you
simply import the tables?

Please respond to mso [mso] Microsoft access DB
password
Hi,
I was asked by a company to open up a old database they contracted some
other company to do the previous time.
Its lock by VBA and password, so nobody recorded down whats the password to
open and write on it.
Can anyone suggest what I can do next to open up this database and pull out
those info they wanted? Or just crack the password?
thanks
