You can easily use the Tools/Macro/Macro/Organizer to pass them to a new
dot file...then take the dot file via a network or floppy to the new
system and copy them back, using the same method, to the other
Normal.dot file.
OR...you can pass them to a master dot (template) file and then put that
in the ../word/startup dir to make them accessible to Word in normal
use.
OR...you can export out the code module and then import it back into the
new version.
NO...you do NOT have to rewrite them...you have lots of choices. Just
depends what's best/easiest for your purposes.
Yell if you need further details about how to do any of this in detail.

Does any one know how I can transfer the Marco's from Office 2000 in a
old computer to a new computer Office 2002?? I have the file in a text
file? If that would help But Not just how I can transfer them? Sure
