Hi Carolyn, Whenever I have faced this problem I have often followed steps similar to ones that have been made by others on this list without solving the problem, I now tend to do such documents using publisher that enables me to manually move the border if required. As Dian has hinted I suspect the problem is something to do with the connection between printer and office software. I have a document in MS Word 2000 that I want to place a page border around. I went to the format menu and selected Borders and Shading then selected the page border tab. Now I just wanted a plain border so clicked on the box option. when the document is in Print Layout you can see the whole border, but when you go to print preview the bottom line of the border is missing. Now if I selected one of the art borders this doesn't happen. Can anyone help me as to what needs to happen so the bottom of the border shows in print preview and also prints when I print the document. currently my page is set as A4 and the border settings say 24pt for top, bottom, left and right. thanks Carolyn ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, send an email to mso-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word "unsubscribe" (without the quotes) in the subject line.
