Well...in case you didn't see the fixes I suggested, here they are again,

Ok...I'm looking thru Tools>Options and the only thing I can find that might
affect this is on the Calculation tab...make sure Automatic is checked and
Save external Linked values is checked.

Also....go to Tools>Autocorrect and make sure "Replace Text as you Type" is
checked on the Autocorrect tab and make sure "Internet and Network paths
with hyperlinks" is checked on the AutoFormat as you Type tab.

That's about all I can think of

I must be having a brain cramp or getting CRS (can't remember stuff)
disease. I thought I had asked this question already, but was not sure. I
generally am vicious in deleting e-mail, once read. I'm sure I tried
whatever fix you suggested and it did not work. I think Dian's suggestion is
probably the one I will have to adopt. However, in a small company, getting
the owners to buy a new PC this close to the end of the fiscal year is a
hard sell. ;)
