This is a repeat Q from months ago. What was the situation after we
hashed this over last time?

Subject: [mso] Hyperlink Problem

We have an intern working with us who is creating a commercial office
properties Excel spreadsheet. Each property is supposed to have a
hyperlink to photos of the building stored on our network. The problem
is that the intern cannot create a hyperlink on her PC.

I can create a hyperlink in her spreadsheet which others can view, but
she cannot. If she makes changes to the spreadsheet and saves it, the
hyperlinks disappear. If I open it after she saves it, they are gone.
The PC is a Pentium 100, but it is running Windows 98SE and Office 2000.
(What can I say? Interns get the leftovers!)

I have run detect and repair in Excel 2000 and, believe me, you don't
know what slow is until you run detect and repair on a Pentium 100. I
have also cleaned out the system, temp files, etc.

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and how to correct it?
