Uninstalling/reinstalling rarely ever works because old system files that
exist are not replaced. You'd have to find the problem file and rename it in
order to get a fresh copy.
Better to use the Detect and Repair function under Help.

Hello
I checked the temp folder and its empty and it appears that the problem with
Office Assistant not showing is also in Word too.
I Uninstalled my Office program and reinstalled the whole thing again to see
if that made any difference but sadly no. I still can't use the chart in
Excel and the Office Assistant has disappeared.
