I believe you when you say it works for you. But, it isn't for me. Could it be related to my preferred date format I set in the Regional and Language Options, I wonder? You can also use the following: =UPPER(TEXT([date],"yyyy-mm-dd ddd")) which is best used where [date] is the reference to the cell where the date is.
