[mso] Excel 2000- Capitlize day abbreviations?

In Excel 2000, can I format dates so they appear as:
2006-02-27 TUE ???
It wants to appear as 2006-02-27 Tue.
I tried in customize: YYYY-MM-DD ddd, but no go.
