This is a very annoying misfeature introduced with Access 2000. There is
no way to turn it off in table or query datasheets. As a solution use
forms. Create a columnar or tabular entry form. Tabular is sort of
like the table data view. =20
I think this may be able to be disable in Access 2007, but, as I don't
use it, I cant't be sure.

Subject: [mso] Data entry in Access 2003
I am entering data in the table view in Access. The table has multiple =20
columns of various types (most are text). If I enter numbers in two
consecutive =20
columns, Access assumes I am entering a number series, and it defaults
each of=20
the following columns to the value it thinks should be entered.=20
=20
How can I disable this "feature?"
