[mso] Data entry in Access 2003

I am entering data in the table view in Access. The table has multiple
columns of various types (most are text). If I enter numbers in two consecutive

columns, Access assumes I am entering a number series, and it defaults each of
the following columns to the value it thinks should be entered.

How can I disable this "feature?"
