Charlie and I had dinner With Al and Rebecca shortly after Christmas. He was
dealing with a lot just because of the MS. He had called a couple of weeks
ago or so about going out to dinner again, but our schedules didn't mesh, so
we decided to put it off for a while. So it never happened.

This is a tremendous loss. What a bright light he was to so many of us. But,
I know he's probably laughing up in Heaven, wondering when the rest of us
are going to stop being so serious. What a great man!

Al swain passed away peacefully last night at 8:30 P.M. He had been battling
a massive infection and his lungs had shut down. He expressed his
appreciation for the good life he had. Funeral arrangements will be posted
later.
