MM'ers -

I was just up there (Groom Creek) with Sonny in our 2 wheel drive car. Even on the 10K route there are a couple really squishy areas where the road is close to wash out condition. So.. I am really not planning to do 20 miles out there tomorrow.

I will still plan to head up there and hopefully run through some miles with you. However, I may try to get in 12 or so miles in my 'hood before I hook up with all of you. If anyone wants to join, it is a hilly & convoluted route, but it is paved - turns are not marked, but I could jot them down for ya. http://www.dailymile.com/routes/269632-running-route-in-prescott-az This link may or may not show it, not sure if you have to be Daily Mile member or not. I will probably start out before 6 am.

Ok - see you tomorrow up in the hills.

Jessica L.

I'll be there as well, but not sure if the conditions will lend themselves to a 12miler. So I will be flexible.

Ummm....okay.  Forgive the eternal optimist for having pessimistic thoughts, but there is a good chance that the conditions will not lend themselves to a 20 miler tomorrow.  :(  I will still plan to be there at 9am but may only do a few miles and then meet up with a dreadmill at the YMCA later at the in the day...idk.  Willing to suit up and show up and see how the morning goes.

Thoughts?  Anyone done a recon' mission out that way since the rain started?

Ok folks,

It is time to reassemble at the ol' stomping grounds this Sunday the 27th for some miles up in the mountains.  Some of us will be doing the 10K and some of us will be trying for 20.  Start time is 9am at the Groom Creek Fire Station.

PS - for those of you that have accumulated long runs up in that neighborhood, we are open to some suggestions.

:)  Cheers,

Jessica L.
