I'm sure someone told me this was a bad idea though? Is there some issue with it being possible to cause a reaction that will deposit lead onto the copper if you use it as a pickle. If you then heat the copper to try and work with it, the lead is absorbed into the copper, which makes it brittle. Can anyone else confirm or rubbish this suggestion?
