In the March 1978 issue of "Live Steam" magazine, there is a photo of a Steam launch "Brindley", described as "a 25 foot Steam powered "canal puffer" owned by L. V. Nelson of Solihull, Warwickshire. Powered by a coal-fired Merryweather type B boiler and a single cylinder 4 x 4 engine swinging a 19" x 30" propeller." I wonder if it is still in operation?
