[modeleng] Re: 'Mode Engineer' articles

I've had reason to drive from Oxford to THurso and back several
times.... it's one heck of a long way to drive..... not so bad if you
can get a train though I guess....TBH he could get on a train with a
laptop and do a full days work as an editor, stay in a hotel (meet other
ME team), do exhibition, stay in a hotel then do a full days work on the
train journey back... it's not actually an insane thing to do.....
wouldn't' want to drive it again though, not in the one-day push I've
done it in before.....

Agreed. The UK is not nearly as big as many in North America think plus
there is excellent public transportation available. Thurso to London is
only
about 650 miles and most shows would be somewhat closer.
