Hi Tony, No I'm not a member there, however the last time I looked there were no main line registered industrial steam locos, nor were there any large main line locos at Middleton! You say that nothing has been visiting the Middleton with such assurance Craig that I must ask you if you are a member too. I joined about a year ago, partly to relive my youth as I was born and raised literally just round the corner from their engine sheds, along with riding on the footplate into Leeds from the Farnley sheds with my uncle when he lived up there. And my wife still cannot see why I find steam engines so wonderful ... :-(( Tony/ ----- Original Message ----- From: "Craig Gluyas" <craig@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <modeleng@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, November 20, 2008 5:01 PM Subject: [modeleng] Re: Mainline steam services ??? > Mainline registered locos generally run light engine with a support coach > between depots or for positioning moves between runs.
