Hello Roger
I have a 1" thick slab of plate glass, perfectly flat, which has served me
well over the past 40 years.    Like everything else, it must go, but I
would hesitate to post it!   I also have the little Myford cast iron
surface plate, which has the feet accurately ground to the plate
