I am thinking about moving my workshop inside the house in the loft space
and was wondering about the wisdom of using anti-vibration mounts to reduce
the noise transmitted to the rooms below. The two main machines I have are a
Myford Speed 10 lathe (less than 100 kg) and a Myford VMB mill (about
140kg). Has anybody any experience of using such mounts ,and if so ,do they
make much of a difference? Any information about suppliers would also be
helpful.
