They don't work like you probably expect. They aren't lists that can be navigated with the arrows like in Cakewalk/Sonar. There are dedicated keys to move from note to note, event to event, etc. Once you're on a note or event, there are other hotkeys that are used to change the note, velocity, duration, etc. There is a huge amount of F1 help in QWS. Press F1 in the event editor and see what you get. QWS can't record audio, but it is the most accessible MIDI sequencer that has ever been on any computer.
