I think that Sonar has some sort of notation view, but it is very basic.
There isn't any support for it in any of the scripting systems for
Sonar.

My suggestion would be to do the following:

Play your guitar track. Don't play wild improvization, 32nd notes, etc.
All of those little features of a song are personal improvization, and
will make the printed music look too complicated.

Use insert meter/key under the Insert menu to set the key of the piece.
I know that makes no audible change, but I think that, if you set this
wrong, it messes up the scoring.

Select your guitar track, and quantize everything. This is important, so
that your notes line up to perfect quarter notes, eighth notes, etc.

In the View menu, you can open the notation view. I think that it is
called notation, but you'll recognize it.

Select File|Print.

Subject: [MoAccess] Question about sonar and the motif

Hi all.
Just wondering, if I purchase sonar, and get the motif working with it,
would I be able to set a guitar voice up, play a track, then print out
what I wanted a professional guitarist to play?
Thanks
Jes
