So you're saying local control should be on when I use the editor,
correct?

John, the local off setting means that, when you play the keyboard of
the Motif, the messages from the keyboard won't go to the tone generator
(the part of the Motif that actually produces instrument sounds). You
shouldn't usually turn this setting off, unless you're running a program
like Sonar. When sonar is running, it will control the Motif's tone
generator directly.

Subject: [MoAccess] Mix editor for the motif es 7

Hello: I have installed the usb driver for the motif es and installed
the demo version of the mix editor from John Melas. When I turn local
dcontrol off, I'm getting no sound through the motif.
in the midi set up of the editor menu, I chose usb1 for in and out.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. John Fioravanti
