Hello, you can have somebody check for you, i think when you either turn on
the keyboard or load up the sampler it should tell you how much memory is in
there; you can also remove the bottom cover and check for yourself...you
need nothing but ram to be able to load and make your own voices; if you
want to add extra sounds and voices that yamaha has made for the
workstation, you can get stuff like the xg board, the piano boards, the
synth tone generator, etc. But to record your own you don't need anything
but ram and a mic...

I have a stupid question. How do I know if I have DIM memory card installed
in my ES? I bought it used. Also, I want to sample voiceses. Is there
another plug in board that I need to do this? I thought I read that
somewhere.
