Hello Missbird,
I am new to the game, this is only my second month of birding. Today a
spent my birthday weekend in north-western Desoto county. A few highlights
of this outing were my first Pileated Woodpecker in Desoto county, a pair
of Kestrels along Norfolk rd., and a pair of American White Pelicans in
walls slough. Earlier in the weekend I made my first trip down to Coldwater
River NWR, and spotted wood storks, spoon bills, and a million other
sandpipers. That is all for now, everyone have a great week, and hopefully
I will meet some of you around the county.
