[mira_talk] multithread

Is it my impression, or MIRA4 is not using multiple threads? Although I
have indicated not=12 in the manifest file, MIRA4 seems to be using all the
time only one:
I have two different assemblies running:

I am basically using the same manifest as for MIRA4rc05, with the same
dataset, and MIRA4 it takes way longer to finish than 4rc05.
