Azure sp - 2 These appeared like the one in Greene Co. I saw Thursday, with no white ovescaling dorsally, which I would think would rule out Summer Azure, and no dark smudges on the margin or centrally on the ventral hindwing, which should rule out subspecies lucia Auctorum. The dorsal color was a non-lustrous blue with a hint of common lilac, which leaves me thinking it must be an Edwards Spring Azure, Celastrina ladon violacea. I realize this must be recorded as an Azure sp. without a specimen. However, I would appreciate any feedback if anyone knows about which detailed features go with which preferred names.

Eastern Comma - 1

Mourning Cloak - 3
