Hi,

Given that we know there are VO improvements in 10.6.5, given that we can assume that many of the Track Pad features are borrowed from a perfectly accessible OS, given that Expose and Spaces are of limited use now whereas it's almost certain the Launchpad will be accessible due to its IOS based design, and given that Apple are trying to make things easier for *everybody*, I think we have pretty much reached the point where we can actually take it for granted that there will be new features for us. They have so much to shout about that things just get assumed unless they are real departures. I really must start playing with my Track Pad more!

Yep, will definetly upgrade. And the next time I'm in the stoere, iLife 11. Personally I think that while definetly important, accessibility isn't a feature that must be included in apple's keynotes, though the words "voiceover improvements" or something like that wouldn't be a bad thing.

Hi Guys,Is it really that important? I mean, if I could ask steve jobs to do me a favor, that wouldn't be anywhere near the top of the list. This would be a luxury to me. If they fix stuff, and add features and just surprise me, I wouldn't care too much either way. I think it's safe to assume almost everyone on this list would upgrade to Lion regardless of prier knowledge of voiceover improvements?

JMO.

Why doesn't apple accessibility have there own event to talk about the added features to voiceover and any knew features for applications. "the other side of apple, voiceover the intelligent screenreader for all!" Heather
