mailboxes in library/mail/mailboxes to
my pop.gmail.com account folder
why doesn't it does his fore me?
another probem I am having with mail is expanding threads

Well, how long did you do Windows and how long have you been working with Apple Mail?

You can certainly move your mail to other boxes. Look under the Message column of your menus that you access with vokeys-m and you'll find options to move or copy. In fact, once you've moved a message to a mailbox, you can then move more messages there just with cmd-option-t; just look at your menus to see where that cmd- option-t is moving the messages to. If you still have problems, let us know specifically where you are stuck and I'm sure several of us will try to help you.
