the card reader with the card in it will showup on the desktop and if the
card has a name, it will be shown. If not, it will be listed as un named or
unknown.

Hi David.
You said that cards with readers work just fine. Where should the card
reader show up? I have one from raido shack and when I plugged it in to the
usb port I didn't think it showed up anywhere but maybe I wasn't looking for
the right thing? Should it be in /Volumes and/or on the Desktop and what
kind of name should I see?
