Hi Orin,
Darcy made a simple suggestion as to how one can adjust the speaking speed of a converted file by placing a command at the top of the document. This command consists of two left brackets before and two right brackets after the word, rate and the preferred number. For example
[[rate 225]]

The speaking rate is words per minute.

Hi all,

Since Automator doesn't seem to be working for me in this regard, does anyone know of a program to do this without automator, because this automator script isn't cutting it where it won't let me adjust the rate.

Thanks.
