I'm not having any issues either. I wonder what documents are causing it?
also, configuration of preview can be a factor.

I haven't had this prob at all. I use Preview all the time to read
pdfs and actually prefer it over Acrobat.
I'm running OS 10.5.2 on a MacBook 2.16 GHZ 1 GB ram
