One thing that may help is the screenless switchers podcast.
Simply go to http://screenlessswitchers.com
checkout their podcasts, you should find them helpful.
The most important thing to remember while learning the mac, is that osx is not windows. Don't try to apply windows concepts to osx ones, try to pretend you're learning a new language. Sure, some things will be the same, but in general, a word in english is not related to the same spelling in spanish or french or german. Osx may do things similarly to windows at times, but do not let that make you think everything is the same. If you approach learning osx with the mindset that it isn't windows, and it isn't going to behave the same way, you'll learn a whole lot faster. Don't try to relate every osx concept to a similar windows feature, this will only slow you down, and make your transition harder. You need to just pplunge in and imerse yourself in osx and you'll notice how much faster the learning process goes. I realize this sounds off the wall, but it's truly easier to start from scratch, you'll realize it makes more sense when you stop trying to compare, and just take it as it is.
