I use VMWare Fusion, because I too cannot totally convert to Mac. Most notably
when solving captious or mudding because one of the muds I play has a sound
pack, and the sound pack is written specifically for a windows client. Fusion
lets you run windows directly alongside OSX and it is just like you have a
little windows machine hanging around. I have a podcast that details how to set
up an XP Virtual machine and using a hotkey utility called "SharpKeys." The
podcast is located at www.blindcooltech.com.

I have a bootcamp option as well, although i only use that to run a topspeed
server. You cannot use VMWare fusion to do this because the virtual machine
uses a bridge of sorts to connect to the internet, which has the annoyance of
not letting windows have a proper internal router IP, even though OSX does,
such as 192.168.1.4, which of course means that port forwarding is impossible,
because it will forward the port to OSX. If it weren't for this, I'd rather
make my bootcamp partition go away. Oh, one more thing, there is a nintendo 64
emulator, called project 64 that I can't get to work with the Virtual Machine.
I get a graphics driver error and the program won't work. It runs fine on
Bootcamp though. There are things I use on Mac that I will never go back to
using on Windows, such as Adium in place of Miranda-IM, and Mail in place of
Outlook/Outlook express, because, well, Mac Mail is just that simple and to use
anything else is just a shame!
